In our primary relationship we sometimes find ourselves stuck in painful patterns and unable to find our way out. At times, the harder we try, the more stuck we become. As a relationship specialist, using the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, I create a safe and supportive environment for partners to engage in meaningful conversations in order to improve communication, foster mutual understanding, rebuild trust, repair injuries and deepen connection. I have expertise in working with couples where one or both individuals have a history of trauma. If both partners are willing to work on the relationship, miracles are truly possible!

Couples Workshop
Helping couples nurture and grow their
relationship

This highly interactive and individualized workshop offers 8-10 hours of couples coaching, video clips, exercises, and engagement over a two-day period. This can be held on two consecutive days or one day per week for two weeks. The unique intensive format allows couples to focus on their relationship in a time-efficient manner which is often preferable to weekly sessions stretched out over the course of many weeks.

 

The workshop is designed for couples looking to understand and shift negative patterns, improve communication, deepen connection and cultivate the skills necessary for long-term relationship satisfaction. It is beneficial for couples in the early stages of their relationship who wish to build a strong foundation and for those in long-term relationships who are struggling to feel connected emotionally and/or sexually.  

 

The workshop is based on the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is by far the most successful and widely endorsed couples counseling model. For some couples the workshop is all they need in order to move forward with greater skills and knowledge and for others it is an intensive springboard from which to begin a longer-term coaching or therapy process. It is not appropriate for partners experiencing a high level of distress in their personal or couple relationship.
